Current contact mode: tours are arranged directly on WhatsApp. Details entered on the contact page are not saved by this website. Opening WhatsApp prepares a message that you review and send yourself; WhatsApp processes messages under its own privacy policy. The payment and booking-system provisions below apply where those services are used.
1. Information We Collect
When you inquire or book a private tour, we collect only necessary operational details: your name, email address, preferred dates, party size, language choice, and any voluntary notes regarding mobility or interests.
2. How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used exclusively to:
- Communicate with you regarding tour availability, itinerary adjustments, and meeting points.
- Issue your formal quote and secure booking confirmation.
- Coordinate in-person meeting logistics on the day of your tour.
We do not sell, rent, or share guest data with third-party marketers or advertisers.
3. Payment Security
Advance payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure. We never receive or store your raw payment card numbers on our servers.
4. Security & Token Hashing
Guest booking management and quote links use cryptographically random tokens hashed at rest. Sensitive booking links are stripped from search engine analytics and browser referrer logs to protect your privacy.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Controls
We retain personal data strictly as long as operationally or legally necessary:
- Unconfirmed Inquiries: Retained for 90 days after the requested tour date to accommodate rescheduled trips, after which they are purged from the database.
- Confirmed Bookings & Financial Ledgers: Kept for 7 years in accordance with Japanese commercial accounting and statutory tax documentation standards.
- Deletion Requests: Guests may request deletion of their inquiry records prior to the standard retention period by emailing the guide directly.
